This should be addressed with the following LTP commit: commit 7685728780f38ef6fb3c6fd74ead800cb514b803 Author: Jan Stancek <jstan...@redhat.com> Date: Thu Apr 17 10:55:00 2025 +0200
syscalls/setsockopt10: handle explicit disallow of disconnect Since commit 5071a1e606b3 ("net: tls: explicitly disallow disconnect") in 6.15 kernel, disconnect is now explicitly disallowed. I have a vague recollection of Eric pointing this out to us a long time ago. Supporting disconnect is really hard, for one thing if offload is enabled we'd need to wait for all packets to be _acked_. Disconnect is not commonly used, disallow it.
