The issue now seems to be affecting a lot more than just arm64. Changing the IP address seems to have made no difference. It seems that whatever network the autopkgtesters are on refuses all attempts to connect to unknown IPs rather than letting them time out and this includes the IPs reserved for documentation.
I've already disabled "connect_many_timeout" for other reasons. I've just added a check to tolerate connection refused errors in the "connect_timeout" test, version 0.12.9-8 with that change has just been uploaded to sid. Hopefully that makes the tests pass. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Canonical's Ubuntu QA, which is subscribed to Auto Package Testing. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080346 Title: autopkg test timeouts on arm64 Status in Auto Package Testing: Fix Released Status in rust-reqwest package in Ubuntu: Fix Committed Bug description: as seen on https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/r/rust-reqwest/oracular/arm64 the autopkg tests fail on arm64, always on bos03, the only succeeding one succeeded on bos01.
