This issue can be found since 6.11.0-11.11, with specific hardware: * cortez * helo * riccioli * wright * recht (TF) A manual test on riccioli shows it will take about 15 minutes to run: $ time sudo ./ftracetest -v test.d/ftrace/fgraph-multi.tc === Ftrace unit tests === [1] ftrace - function graph filters [PASS] # of passed: 1 # of failed: 0 # of unresolved: 0 # of untested: 0 # of unsupported: 0 # of xfailed: 0 # of undefined(test bug): 0 real 14m32.038s user 0m0.000s sys 0m0.012s $ uname -a Linux riccioli 6.11.0-13-generic #14-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat Nov 30 23:51:51 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux This timeout on ARM64 instance will prevent other tests to finish properly (timeout): * test.d--ftrace--func_traceonoff_triggers.tc * test.d--selftest--bashisms.tc And eventually leads to a job timeout, causing the job raising a sut-test failure.
