Public bug reported:

Some time ago we configured the user-data which is used to initialize
the adt images so that the VMs hostname is fixed to "autopkgtest".
Apparently this is not working as expected in some s390x VMs:

<ahasenack> example on s390x:
adtubuntu-oracular-s390x-server-20240712-img-adt-prepare
<ahasenack> example on, say, ppc64el (where my test works): autopkgtest

This was on bos03.

** Affects: auto-package-testing
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
