Lubuntu mantic install on
- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 8gb amd/ati rv610/radeon hd2400 pro/xt)
I didn't expect issues... My internet is flaky (so I'll need to check that
wasn't the cause) given a full disk install without encryption, but installed
reported failure..
(Note install mostly worked; booted & looked good)

on reboot; the system booted & auto-logged in (I used that option I
believe so expected)... the installed system looked good actually !!
general look at file-system, and it looks like a valid install HOWEVER
not all is there; /var/log/installer/ is EMPTY so no mediainfo for me
to check etc... installer didn't complete tasks
