This affects me with the 64-bit plugin of Flash 11rc1 as downloaded from Adobe's site (flashplayer11_rc1_install_lin_64_090611.tar.gz). The machine is a sandy bridge i7 running oneiric, dist-upgraded from natty. I work around the issue by preloading an override of memcpy (source extracted from a Fedora flash-fix package; http://kir.sacred.ru/flash- fix/repo).
Luckily Flash 11 was released today (Oct 4th), and with it I'm no longer experiencing this bug. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/919/cpsid_91932.html -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Canonical Partner Developers, which is subscribed to adobe-flashplugin in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/727064 Title: [Natty] Strange beeping sound when viewing flash video To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/glibc/+bug/727064/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-partner-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~canonical-partner-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
