1) The IPU6 camera drivers have been a fiasco. My camera was working briefly around 24.04; I had to install some OEM drivers from their PPA. Since 24.10 I cannot get the camera working. 2) A recent bios(?) update additionally broke system sound and microphone. Only bluetooth devices work. 3) I used to be able to leave it in hibernate for 48 hours; now the battery drains quickly while hibernating. I believe at least the camera drivers are Ubuntu's issue at this point (not enabled in the kernel build); I don't believe that Dell has the competency (or really should be on the hook) for device support. This line of laptops at one point was a "flagship" for linux support.
