Nanny Upstairs Pound Cake
This pound cake recipe is from my Great Grandma Anna. When I was a yound
child, my family lived in the lower unit of a duplex home owned by
Grandma. Grandma Anna lived upstairs, and became "Nanny Upstaris", a
name that stuck for all her 94 years!

Ingredients

o 1/2 pound butter or crisco
o 1 1/2 cups sugar
o 3 cups flour
o 3 eggs
o 1 cup milk
o 1/2 teaspoon salt
o 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Combine flour with remaining dry ingredients.
3. To the creamed butter mixture, alternately add in flour and milk.
4. Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees.
