Chocolate Cherry Cake

Description
This great cake won the Betty Crocker Cook-off years ago & became the 
birthday cake my kids always asked me to make for them. It's very simple 
and yummy!

Ingredients
1 pkg. Fudge Betty Crocker Cake mix
1 21 oz. can Cherry Pie Filling
1 tsp. Almond Extract
2 beaten eggs

Directions
Using Pam with Flour, spray 9 X 13 pan. In large bowl combine 
ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed, trying not to break the 
cherry's up too much. Pour into pan & bake.

Frosting:
Comb ine 1 C. sugar, 5 T. Butter, 1/3 C. milk into medium saucepan. 
Bring to a boil & stir constantly for 1 minute, then remove from heat. 
You just want the sugar to melt. Add 6 oz. pkg. of chocolate chips & 
stir until smooth. I don't like the frosting that runny, so I add enough 
powdered sugar to it to thicken but leave it shiny & black. Then pour 
over cake & ENJOY! *You may also use Betty Crocker ready to spread or 
frosting mix.
