That is easy. To make vanilla sugar, all you have to do is break up a
vanilla bean into pieces and place it in a container with three cups
granulated sugar. Cover tightly and leave undisturbed for a couple of
weeks. The essence of the vanilla bean will permeate through the
sugar, leaving it with a wonderful vanilla aroma.
