Good morning!

My Mother-in-law gave for Christmas the pans to make a chekered cake and I was
planning that instead of making the traditional chocolate-vanilla checkered
cake to make a strawberry-kiwi checkered cake. Usually when I make a lemon or
pistachio cake I use Jello's pudding in order to add more color and flavor, but
Jello does not have strawberry and/or kiwi pudding so that's not an option.
Since Jello does carry strawberry gelatin (not sure about kiwi though), I was
wondering if using it instead of the pudding mix will affect negatively the
texture of the cake. If you think it will, do you have any suggestion as to how
I can make the strawberry and the kiwi cake? Do you have any recipes that you
can share?

All the help provided will be greatly appreciated!!
