-2 boxes of white cake mix (Pillsbury is the least desired brand) -fresh strawberries (or frozen sliced or unsliced) -frosting (store bought or homemade-you choose) -vanilla pudding made with the pie filling directions not pudding ones) -Marshmallow cream
I make a 4 layer white cake with 2 box mixes, using 2- 9 inch round pans. After you bake and cool the cakes then put a dab of frosting on a cake plate to keep your creation from sliding. Use a gigantic knife to sort of shave off the tops of the cake layers so it's not rounded so that the berry art will stay on. In between each layer of cake spread vanilla pudding and spread out some strawberry slices. Layer the cakes and the filling (don't spread your pudding all the way to the edges so it stays inside). Mix the vanilla icing with the marshmallow cream. I just wing it each time so I don't have recipe amounts and that sort of thing. I make a fancy display on top and around the bottom edging of whole strawberries and cut in half strawberries. It's best to refrigerate it for several hours before serving. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Clean water saves lives.
