does anyone know if it is possible to test a website (simpletest web
test cases) which is behind htaccess protection?
i always get
"(string)<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD> <TITLE>401 Authorization Required</TITLE> </HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Authorization Required</H1> This server could not verify that you
are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied
the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't
understand how to supply the credentials required.<P> </BODY></HTML>"
of course..

even if the same browser (other tab) is already logged in on that
website

any ideas? is it possible somehow with the web test case classes
provided?
thx
