the cakephp welcome page "http://localhost"; has no img, css, layout.
I double checked the mod_rewrite: create link in mods-enabled/rewrite.load add loadmodule line to httpd.conf when i restart apache it says "mod_rewrite already loaded, skipped". i tried "http://localhost/sdfasfsfd"; it redirect to the missing controller page that has css effect.
