hello people, i have been trying to develop a wiki using cakephp with the help of this tutorial. I am quite ok with php but this is the first time i am using cakephp.
Thing is I am stuck. I think that tutorial was written for cakephp 1.1.x while i have installed cakephp 1.2.x. I have started the whole thing off from scratch (converting cake 1.1.x conventions to the 1.2.x ) but now everything seems jumbled up. you can have a look at what i have done at www.nikatrex.com/cake . I have user registration, login and logoff working. however, the entries editing/adding are giving me a prob. It works quite normally when the database is clear. But after a single post there is a conflict of id key in the database. it may be that i have made a silly mistake in the code, however past 2-3 hours of searching for the bug has yielded no results. I would appreciate if somebody who has run the tutorial using cakephp 1.2. help me. you can see the problems for yourself by trying your hand at the link provided.
