I forgot to mention ... I used CakePHP 1.2 RC1 and RC3 => Seems to make no difference according to the response times. At the Moment I use 1.2 RC1 -- is RC3 the better choice? (I haven't tested the website with RC3 enough so I kept RC1 running)
