If you are just starting out I recommend you start with cake 1.2
(generateList() is function of 1.1, so that's why I assume you are
using 1.1).
But more importantly I suggest you read the manual about data
validation and proper way to retrieve model data, as of now you are
doing a lot of things incorrectly.
