The default template for cake includes a tiny little cakephp logo image in the footer. I thought it was only considerate and respectful to leave this link in, seeing as the foundation did save me thousands of dollars in costs and time.
So many sites though, (like those found in the 'CakePHP in the wild' page) have stripped the logo out, and leave no credit or acknowledgment to the foundation. Now I understand they don't require (or perhaps even request) developers to leave the image in, but why is there need to take it out? What are your thoughts? Is it better to hide your development framework from users than to give credit where credit is due? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CakePHP" group.
