The problem with the API is that it sucks. Having written both
generateList and it's replacement, I'm allowed to say that. ;-) The
method name was ugly, the parameter list bloated, and the
implementation was wrong on several levels. It has since been
refactored into the more beautiful find("list").
What's so hard about doing a find-and-replace? Do you not have an
editor that can search across more than one file?
