Well, all I hope is that they are the start of something. I submitted them to the cookbook about a week ago and they still aren't in it, so I have to figure that they aren't exactly what the developers want in the official documentation.
I am very partial towards wikis, so am very much in favor of the idea of adding stuff like this into a publicly editable zone. But since we don't have a wiki, I figured that a few blog posts was the next best thing.
