Then perhaps you might do us all a favour and refrain from replying to things you do not understand. That goes especially for asinine comments. > > I'm guessing you haven't read my posts here very carefully at all. To > > review: I was calling the view() method from index(). If you can't use a > search engine, I don't know what to say You (and I) were referring to the *online documentation*, not other websites. But, given that you have not yet demonstrated that you even understand what it is I wanted to do, I think it's a bit much to suggest that I haven't done my own part in searching online for the correct answer. And the official docs *are* a mess. Before coming across the 1.2 branch docs, I'd been correcting them, in fact. But I've since begun work on the 1.2 docs, which are marked up in a ridiculous fashion (view source) that makes printing an exercise in painful frustration. Being somewhat new to Cake, I'll leave the explanatory stuff to those who know better. But, as someone who is working on making the documentation better, I'm hardly slapping anyone in the face. Coming from an admitted prick such as yourself, that's pretty rich. Now please, if you really must continue acting like an ass, take it to your crappy blog where ~7200 developers don't have to watch if they don't want to. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
