Hi Marius, One of our clients wanted a progress bar, so we used Thin File Upload, a Java solution that features this and drag-and-drop file support too (it can be found at http://upload.thinfile.com - it's not free though), along with Chris Partridge's excellent File Handler Component in Cake (I used to be able to find it in the Bakery...) and they work together pretty well.
