The link works fine here. If you don't need the div wrappers, don't use the form helper. Simple really.
To create a form Cake can work with without using the form helper, specify the names of the input tags like data[Model][field] - that will then work without having to restructure the input. There's other ways to do it but I've not looked into them, I just use CSS to fix the layouts.
