Hi. Thanks for your help. I am sorry to have come across all pissy (and I know I did) but it is quite frustrating to learn CakePHP when the documentation really is lacking. It really is. I am not saying it sucks, just that it is inconsistent, incomplete, and shy on examples. And the API is just not a satisfactory answer. Studying the source code logic to figure out what something does is not a good way to increase my productivity, frankly.
I emphasize: I DID NOT MEAN TO COME ACROSS ALL PISSY. Sorry about that, really. I've used Usenet enough to know that "pissy" results in no results. But frustrated, well, yeah, I was (and still am) a bit frustrated. Allrighty. maybe I will take one issue at a time in future posts. Thanks for your help!
