Heh I was thinking the exact same thing - I wrote a code submission for the bakery on this, but it's not been approved yet.
In the meantime I've pasted the Behavior code here : http://pastebin.sk/en/1596/ Just add the $actsAs = array('SimpleResults') to any model and it'll work transparently.
