That is your answer.
1. put the file in webroot/files in your cake app instal
2. link to the file <?php echo $html->link('Click here for your
PDF','/files/pdfFileName.pdf') ?> in your view
3. that's it
not sure what was not clear, I gave you an answer. If I had known you
needed such an amount of hand holding perhaps your question should of
made that more clear. The answer I gave reflected the needs and
effort you expressed in you question.
