OK, so here's the skinny... I've tested all your suggestions (thank you, BTW), and then some, and haven't found a solution yet. But here's some more detail, and why it's a little weird. (I'm still convinced my host changed some configurations on the server which has resulted in the problem all of a sudden, but they won't admit to anything.)
It's running PHP 4.4.7, so nothing weird with PHP 5. But the error only occurs under these conditions: * The page being called is created by the scaffolding * Is the list/index function of the scaffold (not edit, delete, add, etc.) Strange, eh? I get a blank page, not a 500 server error, so nothing's being added to the server logs. Now my best guess is that it's a 500 error, hence the blank page, but I may be off on that. I can edit the pages via the scaffold, but no list, no index of records in the database. Funky. I really, really don't want to have to code the list by hand. More than anything, though, it would be nice to identify a potential bug in the software.
