Hi all, I have just recently gotten into PHP and want to install CakePHP 3 through Xampp. There's many tutorials on how to do so, but for whatever reason non of them work. I keep getting the problem when running through Terminal:
cakephp/cakephp 3.0.x-dev requires ext-intl * -> the requested PHP extension intl is missing from your system. The most obvious explanation is to simply uncomment the intl extension in the php.ini file but that still doesn't solve the problem. Most users I have come across say the php.ini file should be under xamppfiles/php/php.ini but my path is different for some reason: /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/etc/php.ini. I've tried everything I can think of including a fresh install of Xampp. If anyone has run into the same or a similar problem I would sure appreciate some help.
