The problem is here:
function view($id)
{
$this->set('data', $this->Category->read());
}
You aren't passing the $id to read. The line should read either:
$this->set('data', $this->Category->read(null, $id));
or, my personal favorite:
$this->set('data', $this->Category->findById($id));
