Usually i do something like this:
function del($id = null)
{
if ($this->Model->del($id))
{
$this->Session->setFlash("Article $id has been deleted");
}
else
{
$this->Session->setFlash("Article $id could not be deleted");
}
$this->redirect('/abc');
}
Would it work for you ?
