OK I see, so it is being deprecated and removed without a specified
replacement.

I see now that the encoding method in linkEmail() is "insecure", and
vulnerable to spam bots... I'm thinking thats what you meant in your
earlier post.

Here's a site I found which lists several methods, with their
pros/cons, for those that may need a replacement to $html->linkEmail()
