as you said - there is a lot of magic going on. so besides the login()
statement there is nothing else
but you can put these in your app controller - they will tell you more:
protected function _autoLogin() {
$this->log('SUCCESS - ' . $this->Session->read('Auth.User.id'),
'autologin');
if (Configure::read('debug') > 0) {
$this->Common->flashMessage('AutoLogin', 'info');
}
}
protected function _autoLoginError() {
$this->log('ERROR - ' . $this->Session->read('Auth.User.id'), 'autologin');
if (Configure::read('debug') > 0) {
$this->Common->flashMessage('AutoLogin Error!', 'info');
}
}
you just need to switch the flashMessage statement against yours (or the
default cake one)
