Yves - there has to be something else. How many sites built on Cake that refer to the generic style sheet do you think are rendered in IE - and you are the first person to discover this flaw? That CSS declaration is so tame and mute that it can never impact a site. I won't take up your offer of recreating your site and debugging it for you, but really - it isn't the proplem you are seeking a solution to.
