Hey FYI though; I just built a database.php config manually; here is my
file: And it DOES connect SUCCESSFULLY; FYI.
<?php
/*
Database table: “people”
Model class: “Person”, found at /app/Model/Person.php
Controller class: “PeopleController”, found at
/app/Controller/PeopleController.php
View template, found at /app/View/People/index.ctp
*/
class DATABASE_CONFIG
{
public $default = array(
'datasource' => 'Database/Mysql',
'persistent' => false,
'host' => 'localhost',
'port' => '3306',
'login' => 'root',
'password' => '[removed]',
'database' => 'cake_2_0'
);
}
?>
