@Zack, your php syntax is off. functions must be in methods of the
class.
@Toby, nice idea, but $uses is a property of the controller not the
model and actually pertains to models not utility libs.
this will work:
class User extends AppModel
{
var $name="User";
function beforeSave() {
uses('sanitize');
$Sanitize = & new Sanitize();
$Sanitize->cleanArray($this->data);
}
}
