Hey everyone,

Just spent a sometimes trying but interesting day getting CakePHP going
on IIS 5 on a Windows 2000 Server box and I've just finished the blog
tutorial in the manaul and it works, yay! I also must say that the
tutorial was really excellent and the documentation on this site is
what made me give up a day of my time to give it a go so good stuff.

Right, so, the reason for my post is I was just starting to read
chapter 21 in the manual about creating a simple user auth system.
http://manual.cakephp.org/chapter/21. Section 3 adds function
'checkSession' to app_controller.php located in /app/app_controller.php
but in my latest download of Cake, app_controller.php is in the cake
directory?

Is this a mistake and if so, where should I have reported it?

Best Regards,
Ryno
