Thanks for all the suggestions, but I was under the impresion that CSS is the best way to go with this, and I've head good success with Firefox, and IE7 so I'd like to continue that path.
Tobius, I should probably do what you're suggesting. However, I don't understand how to attach events to a view's loading process. Where does the code for it go?
