I'll invalid this bug since I believe it's not exactly a bug in the dock, but
feel free to contradict me if you still experience this bug with the version
3.0.1 :-)

Bug description:
This is a minor quibble.
When "Appear on Click" is chosen, the "Show Desktop" icon (unlike the
launchers) no longer responds to a single click, but behaves like the
sub-menus, requiring two clicks.
