| Now that I sold my East Texas property in SAUG, where are often was the only activator, I will be doing mobile for the first time this year along with John Whiteman K5LKJ. This is an experiment as everything in my car is a new configuration, including the screwdriver and I have never done it before. Though I prefer CW, as this is my maiden voyage, we will do SSB. I’ll send Chuck our route probably Wednesday. However Saturday will be over toward Orange up to Jasper cut across to Polk and back to Harris Sunday will be down toward Matagorda and going inward in the direction of Victoria, and then heading back toward Fort Bend. Wish us luck! John,K5IZO Sent from my iPhone Dave,
Known mobile routes and fixed county activations are here:
I'll be fixed in Galveston County - GALV.
Robie AJ4F Who is going roving this weekend?
Dave K5GN
This will be an excellent weekend for State QSO Parties. Because TDXS sponsors the Texas QSO Party, we will undoubtedly be participating. And because we are all participating, we have a good chance of repeating our First Place Club finish in the 2024 TxQP. The more logs we submit, the better our chances for another win.
Good luck. Have fun! This is our time to shine!
New Jersey QSO Party: 1400Z, Sep 20 to 0159Z, Sep 21
Texas QSO Party: 1400Z, Sep 20 to 0200Z, Sep 21 and 1400Z-2000Z, Sep 21
Iowa QSO Party: 1400Z, Sep 20 to 0200Z, Sep 21
