I did not know him personally, but heard him many times on the repeater having discussions with others. This is sad news. My condolences and prayers for family and friends.

Services are set for Saturday September 13, 2025 at 10am, Ascension Episcopal Church in Alief. 2525 Seagler Rd, Houston TX, 77042 The end of July, Patrick suffered major complications of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, requiring emergency surgery. After spending a week or so in ICU, he was doing well enough to get moved to a regular room. They had him up and walking, and when I went to visit him on August 8th, he was his usual self, looking forward to moving to a rehab hospital to continue his recovery. Unfortunately, there were complications and he didn't make it.
