RUMMAGE SALE Calling all tinkerers, collectors, inventors, and bargain hunters! We have been cleaning out our storage and purging our store .... the LONG overdue rummage sale will be this Saturday! Tons of interesting and useful parts, components and modules, audio-related parts and gizmos, weird crazy contraptions, stuff from estate clean-outs as well as numerous gems contributed by many generous customers - one man's trash is another man's treasure! Come seek out bargains in our array of fun and interesting things. We can't wait to see you! we intent to benefit all of the people who are on our mailing list. If you bring us a PRINTED HARDCOPY of this email sent to you the prices will be much much lower! Please visit us for this one day sale Saturday March 1 with a copy of this email PRINTED in hand. We usually have a pile of interesting things on our workshop table for you to rummage through but this time (weather permitting) we might move it all outside under tents! Material will be added throughout the day! With a printed copy of the email, most of the prices will be amazingly low! There is a bunch of audio gear and audio-related fixer-upper equipment as well as enclosures, gadgets, bags of fun stuff, project items, salvage goods, and other cool stuff. Great for students, tinkerers, artists, and theatrical props! We will be selling rummage material VERY affordably to all who come, BUT if you bring a PRINTED copy of this email that was addressed to you and it will be EVEN MORE AFFORDABLE! Rummage material is limited to supplies on hand. The rummage sale will be Saturday only March 1, 2025. It will start at 9am when we open and finish up before 3pm. We do not expect to have any of the rummage material left after Saturday. Did I mention bringing a printed copy of this email address for greater rewards? COMBAT ROBOT TOURNAMENT Saturday, April 19, 2025 Please join us Saturday April 19, 2025 for "Rabbit Rampage" Presented by Innovation Spark (who brought us the Houston Maker Faire) and Hosted by Electronic Parts Outlet - Houston, to see robots fighting in our parking lot! Rain? YES! It will probably rain, but no worries - we will be under some large tents! Multiple teams, some coming from across the country, will be competing with robots that battle to the death. Participants will be arriving at 10AM to set up; the competitions will begin at Noon and likely continue through 5 or 6PM. The BIG arena is being brought out this time to handle the volume of robots participating! The robots fighting on the 1st will range from non-destructive human operated robots weighing 1/3 of a pound to 3lb robots equipped with deadly cutting blades and more. NOTE: We have launched a new class of 150g Sportsman, which is a non-lethal class, this is for teams that don't want to do full destructive combat. So if you are new, or prefer not to have your bot damaged, you can fight in this class. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to join us. For those who wish to compete, there is a link to Innovation Sparks robot registration on our website under Events/Combat Robots or a link at the bottom of this page. We expect the majority of the repairs and all of the competition to take place outside in the Electronic Parts Outlet parking lot. We have a Food Truck coming. They will be selling delicious burgers on site though 3PM. Your RSVP for the event is most appreciated as it helps us with our planning. **PARKING** Participants and spectators who are staying for the day are asked to PLEASE park in the off-site parking at the school down the street behind our building which our signs will direct you to. Please leave spaces in front of the store and behind building open for customers that just need to run in and out to get something.
