This November we're heading to a new (for us) brewery called Walking Stick Brewing Company in Houston. Their motto is "Texas beer with Rocky Mountain roots". This brewery is located just north of the Heights in Houston. As I often say on air, "we usually stay till they close", so don't worry about getting there at 6:30pm if traffic will be more favorable for you to get there at 8pm. Call us on 146.52MHz FM Simplex to let us know when you're close and we can direct you to our table. As far as their brews they have pilsners, saisons, porters, IPAs, and more. I'm especially looking forward to trying their Mountain Berry Saison. They do fill growlers so bring one if you want to fill up. They have food on site served by their own "Little Twiggy's" which sells bagel sandwiches if you want a bite to eat while there. Please come on out if you can!
