Hello BVARC Folks, I need some help please. What would produce a better SWR; to
run the cable from my shack to my antenna by running the cable up and over my
roof or to bury the cable in the ground?
In both scenarios; the antenna is a Vertical Dipole sitting on the ground, the
cable would be connected to a Lightening Arrestor with 8' Grounding Rod located
where the cable enters my house, cable would be 60' long, and RG8 Cable.
Have watched a couple "Ask Dave" (Dave Casler) videos on this and look on
line, but no mention on the if better or worse SWR.
