Looks like good deal; what brand though. BTW, I'm not in the market. What's the gas vs. propane continuous KW rating?

Hello all.

Ive upgraded my generator game since Beryl (my first rodeo) and so to recoup some cost, Im selling my original generator. Its only been run 48-50 hours and I’ve changed the oil and drained the gas from the tank and carb so its ready for storage (or for use).

Dual Fuel – Gasoline or LP Propane

4750W Surge | 3800W Continuous

It’s a 224cc engine and the book says it gets 11 hours on gas and 7 hours on propane.

During Beryl, I ran my large “smart” frig, a deep freeze, and various cell phone chargers and HT chargers, and lights and I got up to 20 hours out of a 20# tank of propane. Never ran gas through it other than to test crank it.

It’s got a standard household 20A 120VAC NEMA L5-20 receptacle, a 30A 120/240VAC L14-30R twist lock, and a 12VDC cigarette lighter plug.

I paid $550 for it and the cover, plus $20 for a spare fuel selector switch, which I will include.

I’m asking $450.00.

The only reason I’m selling it is because I got a larger one. I had no issues with it other than my own ignorance (cannot crank on gasoline if there is a propane tank connected because there is an electronic switch that blocks the fuel).

I’m offering it here (to my ham friends) before I reach out to the broader audience on social media.

Thanks and 73
