Subject: [tdxs-list] Upcoming Contests (and "Not a Contest")

(copied form TDXS list serve)

There is only one event this weekend. If you need something else to occupy
your time, consult the WA7BNM Contest Calendar at
https://www.contestcalendar.com/weeklycont.php#16708. But most of us will
participate in Amateur Radio's biggest event, Field Day.

TDXS is again partnering with the Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club, the
Katy Amateur Radio Society, and the University of Houston Amateur Radio
Club for Field Day at Duchacsek Park in Sugar Land. Al, N5XZ, has created
an online sign-up sheet to show the availability of operating positions. I
encourage you to go to https://tinyurl.com/5bukx37k to sign up for times at
the many available positions. TDXS members are some of the most experienced
radio operators and can significantly boost this Field Day operation's
score. In addition, because of our expertise, we can be a foundation of
experienced Hams who can educate new operators and encourage them to join
the ranks of Contesters and Dxers.

The address for Duchacsek Park in Sugar Land is 17034 Old Richmond Road,
Sugar Land, TX 77498.
