As a club member for several years, I've seen our membership grow
substantially. As is often the case with a growing organization, many members
will present, promote and disagree with a wide variety of initiatives and
policies. With that, occasional disagreements are unavoidable. That is why our
BOD is charged with the club's operations. There will times when the Board may
support an activity in a manner that is not to the liking of the initiator(s),
but that is not to say that the initiative has no merit or benefit to the club.
As adults, we need to remain respectful to our fellow club members. If we fail
to do so, the club will fall into kayos and self-destruction. BVARC is a great
club with great people.Let's all work together to make it the best amateur
radio club possible.
