One important and very positive aspect of the Greater Houston Hamfest has always been the quality of the technical talks and presentations. But, in order to put these on for the hundreds of interested attending hams we need some additional AV expertise (or at least an interested party to help me put this thing on).
So, if you have an interest in setting up talk venues with PC's Power Point, Acrobat, screens, projectors, PA / mic systems.......let me know. Of course, your volunteering will also include setting up the rooms (manual table moving labor set-up and reset after. ) Work would occur Friday morning and afternoon and then on Saturday to monitor and possibly MC the talks, as we hopefully will have 2 rooms going at the same time. Respond to me direct with questions or to put your name on the list with your availability. Any equipment you might have in this regard would be appreciated to add to the cadre of gear already stockpiled.
