NOW a new topic to discuss. Banquet Speaker.....  

I feel that if you are going to have a speaker for the banquet that the speaker should appeal to all. 

If you were to have a speaker come in and talk only about ham radio that may not be interesting enough for the non hams that are attending ( wives, dates, non hams.... ) .

In the past at the banquet there have been some good speakers with neat presentations . The one that sticks in my mind was Ron Litt's wife. She did a presentation from the wife's point of view of HAM radio. BTW it was funny.

So in closing to  those that are putting together the banquet please consider a speaker that will appeal to most of the attendees.
