At the BVARC December meeting, Mke Lambert, KI5MIK, gave an excellent and quite comprehensive presentation on his delve into the world of house power back-up. He started with a gas generator then went thru a substantial exploratory due diligence of the solar and battery based system which he now uses. He covers battery chemistry and the pro's and con's of each step in his travels.
