My sound comes through just fine on all my devices.

I have found that sound can be difficult when running WSJT-X. I’ve spent lots
of time looking at the sound settings on the computer I have the rig connected
to. I know for certain it is a computer issue (because it happened before it
started using Chrome Remote Desktop), but after a period of time, my computer
decides to send the sound out through the speakers instead of out to the rig. I
have to close and reopen to WSJT-X for it to work right again. This behavior
happens exactly the same when running Chrome Remote Desktop.

For me, Chrome Remote Desktop sound works perfectly – it sends exactly what
would come out of the computer speakers. If you are having trouble, it must be
something specific to your setup.

Thanks, what I notice with Chrome remote Desktop is not capturing the sound. I
just try team view and I can hear sound from my iPad if I use SDR play as an
example. Did I miss something on Google Desktop?

I use Chrome Remote Desktop. I run it on the computer that my radio is
connected to. I can use it remotely on other computers and my phone. I’ve made
90% of my FT8 contacts remotely – sitting in my living room, in line at the
post office – anywhere and everywhere. I have 2 screens connected to the laptop
and it handles that very well. The app for the phone works perfectly and easily.

I notice multiple times at the field day and other events some Ham radio
operators are using iPad to control remotely through the home computer your
WSJTX.
Can you share what software you are using and the details?
Thanks.
